We welcome general submissions of fiction, nonfiction. We have several literary groups. For our Fanny Forrester group we our desired material is to reinvent romance and adverture for the 21st century. How would that look? You tell us!

 

We ask that submissions of fiction and nonfiction be somewhere between 1000 and 2500 words in length.

 

For poetry, please submit a set of 3-5 poems.

 

We are happy to consider simultaneous submissions, so long as you withdraw your work from consideration if it has been accepted elsewhere. Our response time is typically 4 weeks.

Fiction

We are open to all narrative styles and forms, and are always on the lookout for something we haven’t seen before. Send a story we won’t be able to forget.

 

Poetry

We aim to publish work that reflects the multiple poetries of the Golden Chain.

 

Nonfiction

We publish many essays each year, so we call for the very best writing, period. We believe literary nonfiction can take any form, from the letter to the list, from the biography to the memoir, from the journal to the obituary.

 

Publication Rights and Author Payment

All rights for the  work we publish reverts to the author upon publication. As part of the journal’s publication contract, we request your permission to feature published works or excerpts on our website and in its advertising.

 

At this time we do not pay for the work we publish. We hope to change this policy in the near future.
